William 1998

William is four years old and is going into K2 at St. Andrew's International School. He enjoys just about everything and is keen to learn and explore.

William was born on July 14th, 1994 after keeping his mother awake many nights with anticipation. He was delivered in a birthing room at Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok.   The doctor assisting the birth was a little preoccupied with the results of a World Cup football match that was being shown in the rom next door.

William is name for the first Teske in his family to come from Europe to Canada, Wilhem Teske.  His Thai name is Pira, from which he gets his nickname of Nong (meaning younger) Pi.

He is quite the avid fan of the computer and plays Freddi Fish, Crayola Art Studio, Peter Pan, Elmo's PreSchool, Ozzie's Garden, and Fisher Price's ABCs and 123s every chance he gets.  He is also very happy that his father buys legal software.

His teacher for K1 was Miss Maylene.  She was very happy with his progress and the quickness he picked up English.  He made many friends in K1 one, some more special than others.

At the end of the K1 School Year, his school had an Ugly Bug Ball.  William wasted no time in deciding that he want to go as a spider.  His mother and father had to wander around finding the right material, deciding on a pattern, and trying to sew something that would fit.  He was very happy with the result.  On the day of the party he wore it from the house to school and wouldn't take it off.  He even wore it to McDonalds and attracted everyone's attention.
