William is now enjoying speaking English a great deal. He is always asking Mommy and Daddy to read him stories. No matter where we are he asks why. His latest puzzle is why can't he fly. He flaps and flaps but doesn't gain altitude. He didn't by the fact that birds have hollow bones and are therefore much lighter so it is easier to fly. He thinks there is some magic somewhere. Speaking of magic, Will found the magic of Santa Claus this year. We set up the tree and he started talking about what he wanted to get for Christmas. About a week before he realized that he hadn't written a letter to Santa so he asked for a piece of new paper (we normally have used paper for him to draw on) and selected his favourite crayon. He can't write yet but he asked me how to spell the items on his list which included: A Rocket, A Robot, A Small Soldier (The Good Guy). That's all. The night before Christmas he was with his Mom and asked if he could also get cookies for Christmas and then realized he didn't put them on his list. Will's passion is now singing to himself. He walks around the house or sits and plays and just sings and sings. Many of the songs are ones he learns in school. He even picks up the songs from the other grades. But the odd one is a tune he makes up himself. He scolds his Dad when Daddy has different words for the song. His mom enrolled him in a Yamaha music class. Everyone is dreading the day he discovers percussion!!! More photos!! Will taken before bed with a Sony Mavica FD51 Ibid with a smile... |
